Dunedin City Hall will be open today, Friday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as a "Cooling/Charging Station" for residents without power. Please bring your chargers. Trash & Recycling Storm Update

We will resume Thursday curbside trash and recycling collections on Friday, September 27 and will continue through the weekend. Please wait until tomorrow morning to put your cans out as the worst of the storm will continue tonight. With higher than regular volumes anticipated due to Hurricane Helene please be patient and expect delays for yard debris and bulk collections.

Rather than this being a traditional wind and rain hurricane, the flooding makes this unprecedented. At this moment, Duke Energy crews are working with multiple fire/rescue agencies to make it safe for them to enter the flood waters to make boat rescues, the first responders were concerned about electrical hazards while doing their work. Secondly, working with road crews to cut and toss lines to allow emergency crews to move through the area. At this point, we are not able to provide estimated times of restoration.
