Join us for an exciting celebration at Eagle Scout Park on Saturday, November 16th at 10:00 a.m. as we proudly unveil ten brand-new pickleball courts! The Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to introduce this fantastic addition to the park, providing an excellent opportunity for pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels to play, socialize, and enjoy this new outdoor facility. After much anticipation, fueled by community enthusiasm and support for this popular game, we are excited that this day has finally arrived.

The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m., with coffee and beverages starting at 9:30 a.m. People of all ages are invited to attend. Our pickleball instructors will be on-site to answer any questions and share information about lessons available for adults, teens, and kids. After the ceremony, you can experience the fun of pickleball and play on the new courts!

Parking for the event will be available at the Dunedin Assembly of God Church located at 885 Lake Haven Road. A free shuttle service from the church to the park will operate from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For those with accessibility needs, handicapped parking will be available at the park entrance. RSVP by calling 727-812-4531 or emailing rwinans@dunedinfl.net.

Once the ceremony concludes, the pickleball courts will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. These courts at Eagle Scout Park are dedicated exclusively to pickleball and are free to use on a first-come, first-served basis provided that players adhere to posted rules and proper etiquette. Amenities include shaded seating areas with benches, lights for evening play, nearby restrooms, a water fountain, and a walking trail, as well as the Dunedin Community Garden.

If you’re looking for more opportunities to play, additional courts for dual-use pickleball and tennis can be found at Highlander Courts and Fisher Courts, located at 1937 Ed Eckert Drive, near the Highlander Pool and Little League fields.
